James Oliverio - President
Before merging into Another 9, James founded IdeaBox, a firm specializing in the delivery of innovative information technology products and services to the financial services industry. Prior to IdeaBox, James was Managing Director Global Head of Corporate Finance IT for UBS Warburg. His responsibilities included strategic planning, recruitment, resource management and the delivery and support of applications both for back and front office operations.
Before UBS, James was Managing Director CTO of Credit Suisse First Boston's Investment Banking division. Prior to the CSFB acquisition of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, James held the position of Divisional CIO of the Investment Banking Group at DLJ. During his 13-year tenure he implemented IT solutions that supported IB revenue growth in excess of $2 billion dollars. James holds an M.S. in Telecommunications and Computing Management from Polytechnic University and a B.S. in Computer Science from St. John's University.
Steven O'Brien - Executive Director
Steven O'Brien joined Another 9 in July 2011 from our Dublin Ireland Operation where he was an original founding director and CEO. Since inception, he has engineered a number of acquisitions that have been instrumental in scaling Another 9 and positioning the Company for continued growth. As Executive Director his focus continues to be the strategic direction and continued growth of the Group. Steve received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University (B.A.) and graduate degree (M.B.A.) from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
Benjamin Gaines - Chief Financial Officer
Ben spent 17 years on Wall Street working in financial and operations management for major investment and brokerage firms including Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. He left Wall Street in 1988 to pursue personal business interests. He founded Country Place Health Management in 1989, operating a for-profit mental health institution in northwest Connecticut. He turned around a failing specialty hospital to solid profitability in 18 months. In 1994, Ben started a medical equipment repair business and passed his interests to a partner in 1997 when he left the US for the Baltic Countries to investigate private business opportunities there.
Ben came to Another 9 in the Savvy Networks acquisition. He joined Savvy in March 2000 where he ran day-to-day financial and business operations. Ben contributes leadership experience and extensive management skills. Ben holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Patrick Hermanto - VP Technical Operations
Patrick is Another 9's VP of Technical Operations and held that role at Savvy Networks since 1997. Pat is responsible for the team that coordinates the deployment and management of all IT services. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Chicago.
Michael Marmorale - VP Client Services
Michael is responsible for field services and remote client support. Michael came to Another 9 from Ideabox, where he was a chief contributor to that organization's rapid growth. Prior to Ideabox, Michael was an AVP at Credit Suisse First Boston heading the domestic desktop support group in Investment Banking. Before that he led the Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette IB desktop support team for the America's. Mike had a lead role in the CSFB-DLJ integration when those two firms merged in 2000. He was a member of IBM's Federated Conversion Team when they changed to IBM store systems. Michael holds a BS from Michigan State University.
Michael Godofsky - Hosted Services Manager
Prior to joining Another 9, Mike managed technical support teams for Digex, Intermedia, and Cogent Communications where he specialized in providing world-class support for medium-to-large business in mission-critical environments. In addition to his LAN/WAN expertise, Michael also has experience as a corporate trainer, having managed a technical curriculum for Internet Operations at Intermedia. Mike attended Syracuse University where he studied Aerospace Engineering.
