Software agents are installed on the servers that we want to provide offsite data backup protection for.  These agents allow us to select the critical files and folders to be backed up, and to program the automatic scheduler, which automatically starts the backup at the scheduled times.

Once the data backup begins through this online data replication process, each server agent compresses the data for efficient transfer over the WAN link and secures the data using 448-bit Blowfish encryption before transmission. Finally, the data is transferred using 128-bit SSL encryption to further secure the data during transmission.

The data is at all times securely stored at our colocation facility or Offsite Data Repository in a fully encrypted state which can only be accessed using your unique and personalized encryption key. The off-site data backup copy ensures you are prepared for disaster recovery, reinforcing your business continuity plan in the event of a loss of the primary business facilities.
